How it Started
Janet Brooke Chic Boutique, founded in 2014, emerged from a meeting of the minds, between myself and my niece, Selena. She suggested we venture into a boutique style clothing business. Inspired by beautiful memories made with my sister, Janet, and my niece, Brooke, Janet Brooke Chic Boutique was born. Craft Fairs and online platforms were our initial successes, which ultimately led to the creation of our website. Unfortunately, in 2016, we had to suspend operations, due to my mother having a stroke. My sister, Doris and I, shared in Mother’s caregiving right up until the untimely death of Doris in 2021, with the outbreak of Covid. Despite these challenges, in March 2023, Janet Brooke Chic was relaunched, and experienced a remarkable resurgence. Sadly, my mother passed away in September 2023. We are excited about our journey ahead. Our goal is a brick-and-mortar store within the next five years, and Janet Brooke Chic Boutique is set to become your favorite one-stop shop!
